Will this damage my knife?

No. The magnetic guide holds your knife at a consistent angle as you roll, so there's no freehand guesswork. It's designed for standard double-bevel Western/European kitchen knives. It's not suitable for serrated knives or single-bevel Japanese blades (e.g. yanagiba, usuba) — those need a different sharpening approach.

How long do the discs last?

The discs are designed for repeated home use as part of your normal kitchen routine, not as a single-use item. Full details on expected disc lifespan will be confirmed here once we finalise our supplier specification.

Is it safe to leave out on the worktop?

Yes. There's no exposed blade, no batteries, and nothing electrical — it's designed to sit out and actually get used, not hide in a drawer.

What's in the Honed Ritual Kit?

The rolling sharpener with its magnetic angle guide and sharpening disc. Exact kit contents and disc specification will be confirmed here before launch.
